What is Child Find?

Child Find is a free service that helps identify children ages birth through 5 who may have a disability or developmental delay and may benefit from early intervention or special education services.

Areas of concern may include:

  • Speech and language development
  • Motor skills
  • Learning and cognitive development
  • Social and emotional development
  • Hearing or vision concerns
  • Adaptive and self-help skills

Early support can make a big difference. If you have concerns about your child's development, contact the Special Education Office to learn more about the Child Find process and available services.

Seeking Peer Role Models

Peer Role Model Criteria:

Be potty trained
Know letters, shapes, numbers, and colors
Interact appropriately with peers
Demonstrate age-appropriate independence
Show readiness for kindergarten
Enjoy learning and participating in classroom activities
 
Peer Role Model Monthly Tuition is $100 (excludes December & May) 
Age 4 is preferred
