This morning the Winslow Police Department advised the WJHS and WHS campuses to go into a shelter in place due to an active police situation in the area. Out of an abundance of caution, Washington Elementary and Jefferson Elementary went into a shelter in place due to their proximity. Bonnie Brennan Elementary was not advised to go into a shelter in place. However, the doors were locked and students remained in their classrooms for the duration of the emergency procedure at other campuses.
