Robotics

Dear Robotics Parents and Students, 

We have now completed 5 days of practice.  Teams have begun designing their robot in anticipation of completing missions in coming weeks .  In the next few weeks, the rigor and technical demand will greatly increase.  We will begin the research portion of robotics, which is heavily academic based.   Students are held to a high standard to tackle complex challenges with little or no adult guidance.  It is part of the cooperative competition spirit that First Lego League expects for successful robotics teams. 

We would like to offer a grace period to families to receive their $25.00 participation fee back if a student decides to discontinue with robotics.  This grace period will be offered through September 1.  Beyond this date, we will not return the participation fee if a student quits the program. 

Practice will take place Tuesday-Thursday until 4:00pm during the week of 9/4.
